JVC's new entry car multimedia system KW-V255DBT uses a large 6.2 inch clear resistive touch panel to control all of the latest features included in this package. DAB/DAB+ reception and Bluetooth wireless technology is integrated. Bluetooth supports music streaming and hands free control of two separate phones. Spotify music streaming app opens the door to a world of Cloud base music. Sound quality is ensured by using Full Digital sound processing and time alignment along with a 13 band Graphic Equalizer. In case you want to add external emplifiers, 4.0V x 3 Preouts are waiting on the back panel. Av-in, AV-out and a rear camera can be connected.

DAB+ Audio

Built-in DAB tuner lets you enjoy digital radio broadcast from DAB+ audio stations. And in an area where DAB signals are weak, the DAB Tuner equipped in the receiver can seamlessly switch between DAB+ and FM without an audible interruption.

Bluetooth Wireless Technology

2 Phone Fill-Time Connection:
You can connect two phones full time via Bluetooth, with secure and simple pairing. Calls to either phone can be received by a push of a key on the head unit.

Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile 1.6
HPF 1.6 Wideband Speech is supported, so you can now enjoy hands-free phoning convenience together with higher voice quality and improved noise reduction.

iPhone® / Android™ Bluetooth Automatic Pairing:
Just connect your iPhone or Android device* via USB and the automatic Bluetooth pairing function will work. No complicated manual procedure to worry about. (*JVC Music Play application is required)

Key Customize

Two options let you easily access frequently used functions.

1. Function Menu Customization
Functions registered in the Function Menu can easily be
called up by simply pressing the "FNC" key.

2. Favorite Key
Press and hold the “FNC” key to directly access the
function registered for the Favorite Key.

Sound Optimalization

Time Alignment:
By selecting the speaker type and the distance to the centre of the listening position, the head unit will automatically adjust the timing of the sound output from each of the speakers so that the sound from each of the speakers will arrive exactly at the same time to the listening position.

Sound Lift:
Virtually manipulate the height of the speakers by adjusting the sound frequencies.

Volume Link EQ:
Volume Link EQ boosts specific frequencies in the audio signal to compensate for the impact of road noise. It boosts frequencies in the music that are affected by road noise.

K2 Technology

K2 is a JVC original technology that reproduces the original master sound by expanding the frequency range. For example, K2 will expand the digital data of the audio CD recorded at 44.1 kHz/16 bit to 192 kHz/24 bit. It is also possible to recreate the high-frequency range above 20kHz that is cut during the CD formatting.
