Gustav Emrich talks to KitPlus magazine about the new GY-HC900 2/3-inch broadcast camcorder (CONNECTED CAM), plus the new 4KCAM cameras with integrated graphics and live streaming, which all form part of JVC’s end-to-end IP-based production solutions. Even single-camera productions can benefit from JVC’s connectivity; the new GY-HM250E offers live streaming as well as lower-third and full-screen titling solutions without an external CG or production switcher.
JVC has announced three new additions to its family of 4KCAM cameras from the recent NAB2018 show. Among other new features, the new GY-HM250E offers integrated graphics and live streaming, while the GY-HM250ESB adds sports-specific score overlays. Also new, the GY-HM180E sets a new benchmark for professional compact cameras without built-in streaming or graphics.
JVC has announced the GY-HC900 ‘CONNECTED CAM’ broadcast camcorder, which features three 2/3-inch CMOS image sensors for full HD imagery, as well as enhanced connectivity for a complete news-over-IP workflow solution in the field. The camera was demonstrated at the recent 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
This new projector includes a Laser light source “Blu-Escent”, realizing a brightness of 3,000lm which also has dynamic light source control, unique for laser, plus 20,000 hours operational life time. Additionally a high brightness, high quality, and vivid 4K picture can be produced thanks to the new lens dedicated for 4K and the new Cinema Filter with wide colour gamut.
